MOTIONCARE® - LIANA

Effective and professional early mobilization to the edge of the bed within only 1 m²

Moving a patient in need of care within a confined space is one of the greatest physical challenges a nurse must overcome on a daily basis. Mobilizing patients out of bed to carry out activities and existential life experiences represents a significant physical burden and is often uncomfortable for both parties. With LIANA as a genuine worldwide innovation in the field of nursing, MOTIONCARE® offers the right approach to make work in nursing homes, intensive care units, or at home noticeably easier. In this way, you not only provide your patients with health-promoting early mobilization in a confined space, but also with a degree of self-determination.

LIANA helps with mobilization directly to the edge of the bed as a seating and standing stabilizer. Without physical effort, the bedridden patient can be mobilized, for example, to prepare him or her for therapy, a change of visual environment, or mobilization process to the edge of the bed.

Time studies in collaboration with various clinics have shown that the mobility process to the edge of the bed is significantly more effective than the conventional approach. We were assisted by 20 pilot clinics to make the device suitable for everyday use.

Results of a time study:

Time savings of more than 160 hours per month* with significantly reduced physical stress for healthcare professionals!

*assuming 7 uses per day (see time study)

LIANA seating & standing stabilizer

Mobilize your patients! Protect your personnel! Increase efficiency!

Mobilization with LIANA is carried out under the highest standards of patient safety and, with its simple operation, represents a real relief for all sides. This saves you time in nursing without neglecting patients and can also make nursing more pleasant and safer.

In addition to the practical benefits that nursing facilities and clinics enjoy from LIANA by MOTIONCARE®, the seating stabilizer has a positive impact on the patient’s living environment. For example, the elevated sitting position can improve the visual perception of one’s surroundings during a long period of lying down. Through LIANA, regular mobilization of the body also takes place, which has a positive effect on the recovery progress in hospitals or in short-term care, thus offering therapeutic benefits that go beyond the basic function as a nursing aid.

Modern Technology for care facilities and at home

With an increase in the number of Germans in need of care by more than 50 percent to 4.4 million by 2050, the impending crisis in the provision of care is hard to deny. LIANA from MOTIONCARE® provides a valuable approach to facilitating patient care with advanced technology, thereby reducing time and effort. It's a valuable contribution that enriches intensive care units and nursing homes just as much as facilities for the disabled or private care households.
